Hi loves! A couple of blog posts back I talked about My Favorite Fall Trends for 2017, but instead of trends, I wanted to share my Must Have Closet Staples for this Fall! With these staples, you can create a variety of outfits and these essentials never go out of style!

V-neck Shirts
Or what I like to call “the perfect tee”. It doesn’t have to be v-neck, but I love loose fitting deep v-neck tees for the fall. It’s perfect for layering under a knit cardigan, add some layered necklaces, jeans, booties, and voila you have a fall outfit! I purchase mine from various stores, the white one picture is from Forever21 and the black one is from Target.

Black Jeans
An absolute must! Black jeans pair with virtually anything and these ones are my favorite! They’re distressed – which I love – and they’re on sale for $21 from JcPenny! These are the best fitting jeans I’ve tried in a long time. They’re hug you in all the right places! If you want to see them on, check out this post (wearing them in pink!)

Rose Gold Watch
I love to pair watches with most of my outfits, and this one from Fossil is perfect. This two-toned watch adds a little something extra to any look and I’ve owned mine for a couple years now. 10/10 I would recommend checking this watch out – also on sale right now + it comes in 6 different colors.

Sunnies
Fall usually calls for those cold clear sky days, and sunnies are essential for days like this! I live in the Pacific Northwest and that’s been our weather for the past couple weeks! I typically never splurge on sunnies because I have a terrible history of breaking them – one to many times – and I’ve learned my lesson! However, if you want to splurge HERE is a good option. Mine are a couple years old from TjMaxx, but you can find a similar affordable option HERE (these are final sale for $13 and they’re SO cute). Also, I’ve been meaning to purchase the desixquay high-key sunnies, but I’m scared I’ll break them 😐

Layered Necklaces
Just like watches, layered necklaces often pull an outfit together and always add something extra. You can buy them basically anywhere and they’re affordable. Also, you don’t have to buy a set of layered necklaces, you can make your own! You can find similar ones to mine HERE and HERE. Or if you like the option of already layered necklaces, HERE and HERE are some adorable ones.

Short Booties
Ankle booties are a staple because they’re comfortable enough to be worn for hours and you can pair them with anything – jeans, dresses, skirts, etc. If you don’t already own a pair, go find one! I tend to find if you wait too long into the fall, they disappear – at least the classic black staple bootie. I just purchased the ones pictured HERE (On Sale!) or grey color option HERE, but you can find a similar more affordable option HERE.

Black Leather Jacket
Black leather jackets are an essential wardrobe item each year for me. They never go out of style, you can dress them up or down, and they always add to the look you’re going for. I’ve had the one pictured for years now, it’s from Charlotte Russe and it’s faux. You really don’t have to spend a lot for any of these staple items including a leather jacket.

I tried to include affordable options and as I mentioned, you don’t have to spend a ton for these closet staples. Best of all, these staples last me forever and I just add to my collection as the seasons roll around. You already know that when Spring comes, I’ll be sharing my closet staples for then too! I hope you guys enjoyed this post and tell me about your fall closet staples! Xoxo.
